A quote for your case
What it costs and how the price is worked out
We do not publish a fixed rate because the real cost depends on how many hours are needed, the type of care and whether nights, weekends or bank holidays have to be covered. We assess your case and give you the price in writing before we start. There are three things we never charge for.
- The assessment at your home is free.
- The written care plan is not charged for either.
- Coordination with your doctor is included.
The same applies to a live-in carer and to 24-hour care: the price is worked out for your case and given to you in writing at the assessment, with no hidden charges.
Companionship and support
Company, supervision and light support at home

The honest comparison
Why it costs more than hiring a private carer
On classified ad sites there are carers at 8 or 11 euros an hour. It is worth looking at what each option puts on your shoulders.
Hiring someone privately
- You are the employer: social security registration, payroll, holidays and severance pay.
- If they fall ill or leave, you cover the gap.
- Without a healthcare qualification there is no medication, no injections and no wound care.
- No public liability insurance if something happens in the home.
With Curis Care
- The company is the employer. You handle no payroll and no registrations.
- If someone is off, we send a replacement.
- Registered nurses available when the case calls for it.
- Public liability insurance behind every visit.
If you are looking for a few hours of company at the lowest possible price, we are more expensive and we will not pretend otherwise. We make sense when there is medication to manage, mobility that has been lost or a discharge from hospital.

Who comes into the home
We do not assign a professional by whoever has a free slot
We choose them for the type of care needed, for their character and for the family’s language. And we aim for it to be the same person every time. The team is made up of registered nurses, certified physiotherapists and care assistants trained in elderly care, all with verified background checks.
If what you need is rehabilitation after an operation, we have a dedicated page on physiotherapy at home.Nicoline Anyu

Where we work
We are in Fuengirola, not in another province
Our office is at Calle Miguel Bueno, 12. The team lives and works on the Costa del Sol, and we reach most homes in 30 to 45 minutes. We coordinate with your GP and with the hospital treating you.
Before you commit to anything
Private care or the council's home help service
Council home help (SAD)
This is the public route: you apply at the town hall or through the Dependency Act, it is subsidised with a co-payment and it is granted on a points scale. In Fuengirola the council itself states that it serves 134 users. The hours are limited and the family does not choose them.
Private care, which is ours
You hire it directly. No points scale, no waiting list and no limit on hours: you decide how many and when, and you can start this week. In exchange, you pay for it in full.
If your situation is not urgent and you fit the scale, applying for the council service is the sensible thing to do and we will tell you so. Many families do both and use private care to cover what is missing: afternoons, weekends and the clinical side.
Frequently asked questions
What families ask us most
Between 24 and 28 euros an hour for companionship and basic support, between 30 and 34 for full personal care, and between 48 and 60 when the care is given by nursing staff. By package, 8 hours a week works out at between 720 and 760 euros a month, and 12 hours at between 1,080 and 1,180. The initial assessment at home is free and the care plan is not charged for.
We do not work with an off-the-shelf minimum. The hours are proposed by the professional after seeing the situation at the assessment, and they are adjusted later at the follow-up reviews if the person improves or needs more support.
A carer keeps someone company and helps with day-to-day life. A care assistant has specific training in support with hygiene, mobility and feeding. A nurse is registered and is the only one who can administer medication, give injections, carry out wound care and assess vital signs. Curis Care works with all three profiles, and at the assessment we decide which combination each case needs.
Tell us as soon as possible. The fit is part of what we review in the regular follow-up included in every plan, and coordination will work out the solution with you. Without that relationship the care does not work, so it matters to us as much as it does to your family.
Yes. That is what separates a healthcare company from a carers agency. Those tasks are carried out by nurses registered in Spain, within the clinical level of care.
Yes. The team is bilingual in Spanish and English and we work with international families across the Costa del Sol. We speak to doctors and hospitals on your behalf and keep relatives living outside Spain informed.
